Announcing the official call for submissions to the 19th Bike Winter Art Show.
As the first snow of the season begin to dust our fair city, co-curators Steven Lane and Stuart Hall once again announce our open call for submissions. This year we start where we began… The Auto Show. The good folks at Motor Row Gallery, 2345 S. Michigan Av., have graciously accepted our bid for this year’s installment.
Accepting works in all media – paint, print, installation, sculpture, photography, video, craft and fashion. Our only stipulation is it must be bicycle themed or inspired.
The sheer enormity of the space lends well to sculptural and site-specific installation and as per usual all art submitted with be exhibited.
Traditions also stipulates a closing night fashion show, so chime in any of you fashionista sorts.
Submission deadline- Sunday Feb. 7, 2016
Guidelines----------------------------------------------------------
All work will exhibited within reason as long as it is ready to hang, install or project. If you have an installation or sculpture, please contact us as early as possible to confirm the gallery can accommodate your work.
Please include with your submission – digital images of your work along with title, media and sale price of your work. This is a commission free zone.
